2024 CTCI Foundation Science and Technology Scholarship

1. Scholar quota and amount

  • Research Scholarship for Overseas Students: 15-30 people; NT$150,000 and a certificate of merit per recipient.
  • Bursary Award for Overseas Students: 5-15 people; NT$100,000 per recipient.
     

2. Eligible applicant

  • Master’s and doctoral students who are currently enrolled at Taiwan Tech in the Department of Mechanical Engineering, Department of Materials Science and Engineering, Department of Civil and Construction Engineering, Graduate Institute of Automation and Control, Department of Chemical Engineering, Department of Electronic and Computer Engineering, Department of Electrical Engineering, Graduate Institute of Electro-Optical Engineering, Department of Computer Science and Information Engineering, Graduate Institute of Applied Science and Technology.
  • Research Scholarship for International Graduate Students:
    • (A). Each semester’s academic grade must have reached 80 points (or above), if corresponding to level grade and GPA (please do provide the grading convert sheet along with the academic transcript).
    • (B). Each department/institute can recommend only one candidate to apply.
  • Bursary Award for Overseas Students：
    • (A). Each semester’s academic grade must have reached 75 points (or above), if corresponding to level grade and GPA (please do provide the grading convert sheet along with the academic transcript).
    • (B). Each department/institute can recommend only one candidate to apply.
       

3.Important points about the application process

  • Attached is the guideline for this scholarship. Please read the guidelines thoroughly and follow the application process:
  • Online registration (Starts from July 1, 2024): Please complete the online registration and upload the required documents (link).
  • Hardcopy of the required documents: Download all the application and required documents from the online system and submit them to the MSE department office(E1-243 Lecture Mikihuang Mail：mikihuang@mail.ntust.edu.tw). Please submit all forms before Aug 15, 2024.
  • DO NOT submit your hardcopy documents to the CTCI Foundation directly!
