Graduate Programs

Graduate Course Requirements

★ Graduate students in the Department of Materials Science and Engineering must meet the following course requirements:

  • Master’s students must complete at least 24 credits and take at least one core course.

  • Ph.D. students must complete at least 18 credits and take at least one core course.

  • Direct Ph.D. program students must complete at least 30 credits and take at least one core course.

  • All students are required to take “Special Seminar in Engineering” and complete the “Academic Research Ethics” course.

  • Students must also fulfill the English proficiency requirement before graduation.

PS:According to the 110.5.10 resolution of the "Sixth Curriculum Committee Meeting of the 109 School Year" of the department,  starting from the 110 school year, within the graduated credits of the department, the required credits for the major (TX) will be determined.
