FACULTY POSITION
Department of Materials Science and Engineering
The Department of Materials Science and Engineering (presently Department of Polymer Engineering) at National Taiwan University of Science and Technology invites applications for two faculty positions at Assistant, Associate or Professor level.
The position is available August 1, 2010. We are specifically seeking applications from outstanding persons with expertise in energy, optoelectronics and microelectronics. The successful candidates will have strong commitment to establishing a strong, funded research program, teaching and working with a diverse student population. Also, they are expected to offer three courses on crystallography and diffraction of materials, thermodynamics of materials, kinetics and phase transformation of materials.
Qualified candidates must hold a Ph.D. degree in materials science and engineering, or related science/engineering discipline.

(1) Copies of Ph.D. degree certificate, graduate and undergraduate transcripts.
(2) At least two reference letters, including one from the advisor of his/her Ph.D. study
(3) Copies of Ph.D. dissertation and recent 5-year publications
(4) Curriculum vitae in NSC format with publication list
(5) Statement of research interest (including a budget requested as the start-up fund) and teaching plans with course names/outlines.
