The application information for the 2023 CTCI Foundation Science and Technology Scholarships is now available. Attached is the guideline and the application for this scholarship, please read the following guideline thoroughly if you wish to apply for it.
Students who are receiving NTUST Scholarship or any other scholarships ( such as those awarded by the Taiwan Government, other government agencies, or other organizations) are eligible to apply!
Scholarships and living grants
- The Research Scholarship for International Graduate Students: The total number of recipients is 15-30. Each recipient will be awarded NTD 150,000 and a Certificate of Merit.
- The Living Grant for International Graduate Students: The total number of recipients is 5-15. Each recipient will be awarded NTD 100,000.
Eligibilities
- Master’s and doctoral students who are currently enrolled at Taiwan Tech in the Department of Mechanical Engineering, Department of Materials Science and Engineering, Department of Civil and Construction Engineering, Graduate Institute of Automation and Control, Department of Chemical Engineering, Department of Electronic and Computer Engineering, Department of Electrical Engineering, Graduate Institute of Electro-Optical Engineering, Department of Computer Science and Information Engineering, Graduate Institute of Applied Science and Technology.
- Research Scholarship for International Graduate Students:
(A). Each semester’s academic grade must have reached 80 points (or above), if corresponding to level grade and GPA (please do provide the grading convert sheet along with the academic transcript).
(B). Each department/institute can recommend only one candidate to apply.
- Living Grant for International Graduate Students:
(A). Each semester’s academic grade must have reached 75 points (or above), if corresponding to level grade and GPA (please do provide the grading convert sheet along with the academic transcript).
(B). Each department/institute can recommend only one candidate to apply.
Important points about the application process

- Online registration (Starts from July 1, 2023): Please complete the online registration and upload the required documents (link)
- Hardcopy of the required documents: Download all the application and required documents from the online system and submit it to MSE department office(E1-243 Lecture Mikihuang). Please submit all forms before Aug 7, 2023.
- Your application documents will be evaluated by your department. Each department can only recommend one candidate for each scholarship.
- DO NOT submit your hardcopy documents to the CTCI Foundation directly!
