【Scholarship】Applications for the 2026 CTCI Foundation Scholarship are open from now until August 3rd
1. Research Scholarship:
Limited to PhD students in their second year or above from the graduate institutes of Mechanical Engineering, Materials Science and Engineering, Construction Engineering, Automation and Control, Chemical Engineering, Electronic Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Electro-Optical Engineering, Computer Science and Information Engineering, and Applied Science and Technology.
Note: Each department/institute is limited to recommending only one candidate for selection. If there is more than one applicant, a meeting will be held to discuss and finalize the recommendation list.
2. Innovation Scholarship:
Limited to undergraduate students in their third year or above, and Master's students.
Note: Students may apply directly; no departmental recommendation is required, and there is no quota limit. Please submit documents to Ms. Weng at Desk No. 5 in the Office of Student Affairs (Ext. 3760).
3. Vocational Scholarship:
Limited to undergraduate students in their second year or above who are enrolled in Ministry of Education (MOE) approved Industry-Academia Cooperative Industrial Bachelor's Degree Programs.
Note: Each department/institute is limited to recommending only one candidate for selection. If there is more than one applicant, a meeting will be held to discuss and finalize the recommendation list.
4. International Student Research Scholarship & Living Grant:
Limited to students from the graduate institutes of Mechanical Engineering, Materials Science and Engineering, Construction Engineering, Automation and Control, Chemical Engineering, Electronic Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Electro-Optical Engineering, Computer Science and Information Engineering, and Applied Science and Technology.
Note: Each department/institute is limited to recommending one candidate for the Research Scholarship and one candidate for the Living Grant. If there is more than one applicant, a meeting will be held to discuss and finalize the recommendation list.
5. International Student Retaining in Taiwan Grant:
Limited to graduating Master's or PhD students, or graduates from the previous academic year, from the departments/institutes of Mechanical Engineering, Materials Science and Engineering, Construction Engineering, Automation and Control, Chemical Engineering, Electronic Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Electro-Optical Engineering, Computer Science and Information Engineering, Energy Engineering, Color and Illumination Technology, and Applied Science and Technology.
Note: Students who have already participated in the "International Industrial Talent Education Special Program (INTENSE Program)" are not eligible to apply.

After completing the online application, please print the relevant documents and submit them to the department office by Monday, August 3, 2026. You may submit the hard copies in person or by mail (please mark "CTCI Scholarship Application" on the envelope). Late applications will not be accepted.
